Then follow the simple tips on grilling steaks and enjoy a sumptuous and satisfying dish with your loved ones.

Choosing the Best Meat

To be sure that you will serve a delicious grilled steak, it is important that you know how to choose the best meat. Some of the tasty meats that you can use in this special dish are the boneless blade steak, tri tip steak and thin flank steak. You can also use other types of beef such as skirt steak, brisket, flat iron steak, top sirloin, sirloin tip, eye of round as well as flank steak. When choosing the best meat, it is advantageous if you purchase less-marbled cuts because these are tastier than the other cuts.

Aside from the flavor of the meat, you should also consider the thickness of beef. It is best that you choose meats that are at least an inch thick. There is a big possibility that thin meats become dry when grilled over medium fire. On the other hand, if you choose cuts that are thicker than two inches, you will see that the outer portion of the meats can be easily burnt.

Oiling the Grill

Do not forget to sprinkle oil over the grilling rack before placing the steaks. This is very important to ensure that the meats will not lose the natural juices and flavor. After oiling the rack, make sure that you pre-heat the grill to at least 600 degrees Fahrenheit. Avoid exceeding the temperature to 800 degrees Fahrenheit.

Salting

Do not sprinkle steaks with salt while grilling because it can drain the natural juices of the meats. After grilling the steaks, remove the meats from the grill and sprinkle with salt and pepper to make the dish more flavorful.

Sticking the Steaks

When grilling steaks, avoid sticking forks or any sharp object into the meats because it can drain the natural juices. Make sure that you use spatula or tongs if you want to turn the meats over. Cook each side of the steaks for at least six minutes. Do not use meat thermometer to check if the meats are already cooked. You can spread excess marinade over the meats while grilling to enhance its natural taste and make the steaks more enticing to eat.
